Doosan is thoroughly evaluating the reliability of all products through various tests in order to enable them to fully function in any environment and to maximize their useful life. For this, Doosan has established and is operating the largest Reliability Evaluation Center in Korea to enhance the reliability of products through the development of evaluation technologies and the integration and specialization of functions of tests and evaluations in order to secure world-class quality.
Relying on our many decades of expertise and advanced RG (Reliability Growth) process, we perfectly test the service life of all major parts and equipment items from design to pre-production before rolling them out. All of Doosan’s major parts receive the accelerated life test (ALT) in laboratories at the Center for Reliability in order to check their service life and reliability. Through simulations, they undergo tests relating to possible problems in diverse domestic and overseas working environments. The center is the company’s hub of technical development and quality assurance. Doosan’s products guarantee a level of proven quality that is unparalleled and Genuine Doosan parts that have passed the tests have all been approved by renowned labs in Europe and the USA after successfully undergoing their rigorous tests.
The Center has 13 laboratories including an environmental tolerance laboratory. The Anechoic Room for testing noise level, Extreme Weather Test Room from -40℃ to 60℃, B10 Life Test Block, and many other test facilities of the Center of Reliability guarantees the quality of the Center for Product Reliability guarantees the quality of Doosan products. It also conducts research for improving the function and durability of parts and developing test technologies. In particular, the Center actively works for test-evaluation and quality improvement, which are deemed to be weaknesses in the local industry, by using test and evaluation experts and advanced test equipment. It provides all services related to the evaluation of reliability of developed products, the identification of causes of defects, the establishment of improvement measures, the provision of technical advice on tests and evaluations, and testing.
