Doosan Infracore recently participated in CES 2020 in Las Vegas, U.S., along with Doosan Group, for the very first time. During the trade fair, Doosan introduced its lineup of digital-based products and technologies under the concept of “Fun” and “Tomorrow”. Doosan Infracore also introduced “Concept-X”, an unmanned automated construction solution in the “Construction Tomorrow” section. Concept-X is a total solution in which accesses the terrain of worksites using 3D scanning with a drone, and then analyzes the data and plans the work automatically, and works with autonomous excavators and wheel loaders.
The Doosan booth (483㎡), located in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, featured a three-sided display that screened videos and delivered presentations showing the value of the future pursued by Doosan Infracore using a three-dimensional effect.
CONEXPO, held every three years in Las Vegas, U.S., has established itself as one of the world's top three construction machinery exhibitions along with BAUMA in Germany and INTERMAT in France.
Doosan Infracore participated in ConExpo, held from March 10-14, 2020, with Doosan Bobcat and unveiled the prototype of its new 1.7 ton mini electric excavator. Doosan Infracore also exhibited ten of their latest items of equipment, including an excavator lineup comprising a 3.5-ton class mini excavator and an 80-ton class extra-large excavator (DX800LC-5), a wheel loader (DL580-5), and an articulated dump truck (DA45-5).
An engine exhibition hall was also prepared separately to introduce seven new engine products ranging from the DX22, an electronic engine for power generators, to vehicle engines, with the focus on announcing that Doosan's small engine products (G2) meet the latest exhaust regulations and can be used for diverse purposes in various industries.
Dubbed the biggest exhibition on earth, BAUMA is a construction equipment exhibition held every three years.
Doosan Infracore demonstrated construction equipment remote control technology based on 5G communication to European markets together with LG Uplus during the exhibition. We successfully remote-controlled an excavator in Incheon, Korea, which is about 8,500km away from the “5G remote control station (control center)” at the exhibition site in Munich, Germany.
We also introduced the “3D machine guidance” solution that precisely measures the width and depth of the worksite in three dimensions using the sensors attached to the excavator, including “Doosan CONNECT,” a telematics service that remotely monitors construction equipment based on ICT, and integrated service program DoosanCARE.
It is an international construction equipment exhibition held on the outskirts of Paris, France and is one of the three major construction equipment exhibitions in the world.
Doosan Infracore participated in Intermat 2018 held in Nord Villepinte, Paris, France in April 2018 and introduced 50 products including a full lineup of construction equipment, engines, and Portable Power. We also held commemorative events during the exhibition period including excavator auction and contribution, initial model exhibition, and cake cutting to celebrate the milestone of producing the 400,000th unit of Doosan Infracore construction equipment and the 60th anniversary of Doosan Bobcat's first compact loader release.
Held for the first time back in 1975, the Middle East Electricity Exhibition (MEE) has since become the world's largest annual electrical energy exhibition held in the Middle East.
Doosan Infracore participated in the MEE in March 2020, where it introduced seven engine lineups including its new DX22, a 22-liter electronic engine. The DX22 is a large, high-performance, eco-friendly engine that delivers 20% higher productivity than the existing mechanical model as well as the best fuel efficiency in its class. Doosan Infracore also exhibited the prototype of its hybrid powertrain, which consists of an electric motor and a battery mounted on a fossil fuel-based internal combustion engine. This product is designed to deliver cost-effectiveness and eco-friendliness at the same time, as no separate device is required to reduce the emission of harmful substances, while output has been improved to the level of 3-liter engines.
